What Information We Collect:

We collect no personal information directly from the IvyBay.com website, nor do we use cookies or any other data identification tools.  When you sign up for our newsletter or a free gift, we collect minimal information (name and email address) and a double opt-in is required for your email address to be retained.  This information is stored with a third party, not on any IvyBay.com website or equipment.

We do not collect traffic data with any source identification for ivybay.com.

Use of Collected Information:

We use the email addresses we retain solely for newsletters and announcements.  This information is never sold, transferred, or exposed outside of the newsletter mailing list.  Should IvyBay Consulting LLC be sold, the email addresses will not be directly transferred (instead, a new opt-in would be created).

If you choose to follow us on social media such as Twitter or Facebook, you will receive notifications per standard platform policy.  We do not export follower information in any form.  You may unfollow at any time per platform policy.

Retention:

Personal information (email addresses) are retained only for the time you choose to subscribe to our newsletters. You  may unsubscribe at any time.

A few hints on the webinar itself:

 

  • We use Webinars OnAir, which is built on Google Hangouts. 
  • All browsers work, Chrome is easiest
  • If you have a gmail ID it's even easier to use that.
  • If your webinar image is blurry, you probably just need to adjust your resolution.
  • If you see 'amoebas', little white crawlies around the letters, you might want to reduce your window size (big screens seem to do this sometimes)

This webinar will take you through the basic concepts of project management in plain English.  A recording of the webinar will be available; we'll send you the link when it's available so you don't need to worry about missing anything.

We use Webinars OnAir for our webinars, it's built on Google Hangouts.  We've had good luck with all the browsers but you'll want to know these things:

1.  If you're behind a corporate firewall, you may be restricted from video content on Google Hangouts.  If that happens, try a guest network.  If all else fails, rest assured we'll send you the YouTube link to the recording so you'll be able to catch up!

2.  If the screen looks blurry it's probably your video settings.  Give them a check.

3.  If you see little white amoebas crawling around the lettering, you're probably looking at the webinar in a big window on a big monitor.  Reduce the size of the window and the amoebas will be history.
