IvyBay Consulting, LLC, offers workshops in our specialty areas of Project Management, Business Analysis, and Time Management as well as eLearning modules in both time management and new manager survival.
eLearning modules can be purchased at the sites noted in their descriptions.
We are experienced and adept at providing remote, distributed workshops; however, arrangements can be made for on-site workshops.
Workshops contain a mix of instruction, interactive/guided discussion, and practical exercises. Each workshop contains specific basic content and is tailored prior to delivery to incorporate our clients' needs, processes, participants, and corporate cultures.

Create a roadmap to pilot and/or implement Agile software development processes for your company
Description:
Many organizations are interested in moving to Agile software development practices from current Waterfall SDLC models. This workshop introduces various methods of moving to Agile either in whole, in part, as an option, or as a pilot within a company or organization as well as available tools for making the transition or adding the methodology to the process pantheon. The purpose of the workshop is to explore options for implementation and create a proposal for moving forward with an Agile implementation for the organization.

This workshop is customized for the sponsoring organization. The facilitator will lead the attendees in creating a plan for implementation; prior to the workshop, IvyBay Consulting will work with the sponsoring organization to obtaion background information, corporate culture, and specific goals.

The emergence of eXtreme Programming in the late 1990s gave rise to a new method of software development under the description of Agile practices. Agile practices and methodologies (and there are many, including Scrum) incorporate the need for change and feedback while a software project is under development. While not appropriate for all software development projects, Agile practices are have gained popularity as they have been proven to reduce software costs and time to market while increasing customer satisfaction.
